Howard James Kenny presents a fundraising evening to support the charity WaterAid to which all proceeds will go.

Renowned for his ambient, loop-based acoustic songs, for this one off performance, he’ll be joined on stage by the talented Jonny Lighting and Gavin Filmer from The Other Covers Trio to play a selection of songs from his album Shelter Songs. They’ll also be throwing a few covers into the mix by the likes of Damien Rice, Fionn Regan and Stephen Fretwell.

The excellent Jenny Hallam will also be performing on the night. Jenny is an accomplished songwriter, singer and pianist who started writing songs whilst still at school and has played local pubs and open mic nights in Hereford and Worcestershire since the age of 15. Her reputation soon spread and appearances followed with her band at various Midlands festivals together with a live session on BBC Hereford and Worcester.

About WaterAid:

Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene are basic human rights. They should be a normal part of daily life for everyone, everywhere – but they aren’t. That’s why we’re here.
With the help of amazing people like you, we’re working with our partners in some of the toughest places in the world. Together, we’ve already reached millions of people with these three essentials, enabling entire communities to unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.

And while installing taps and toilets is essential to our work, we do so much more.

We convince governments to change laws, link policy makers with people on the ground, pool knowledge and resources and rally support from people and organisations around the world, making lasting change happen on a massive scale.

In the last year alone, you helped us reach:

956,000 people with clean water
