BABAL bring their unique mix of psyche rock to the Marrs Bar on Friday 24th November 2017.

Capturing the angst of 21st Century Britain with Karen Langley’s sharply observed lyrics, laced with the manically haunting guitars of Rob Williams and enhanced by Zoie Green’s trippy keyboards, plus groove drivers Ben Balsom on bass and Jon Sharp on electronic drums, BABAL deliver a theatrical, barbed performance that defies categorization.

After a great Summer playing festivals, including the Phoenix Alternative Steampunk festival in Wales, and Beautiful Days in Devon, BABAL will be playing an extended set, premiering many new songs from their forthcoming 4th album, “The Circle of Confusion of Tongues”.

Supporting BABAL earlier in the evening will be performance poet Suz Winspear, former poet Laureate of Worcester. An acute observer of the absurd and alternative, Suz’s work always enthrals and veers from the wistful to the weird in a sentence. This is a must see event for lovers of original entertainment.

Also the Zenjen Lighting Experience will provide trippy lighting and hellish backdrops.
