A Triptych of Tunesmiths…an eclectic evening of acoustic music from three fine singer/songwriters from Worcester: Paul Jeffery, Jennifer Ludlow and Paul J Rose.

Jennifer Ludlow

Jennifer Ludlow is a singer/songwriter who plays s mixture of original material along with some chilled out covers. She’s had a busy couple of years playing lots of venues and local festivals. Last year Jennifer supported 10cc’s Graham Gouldman, Dodgy and the late Alvin Stardust at his last ever gig. Jennifer released her debut EP early last year and is hoping to record a follow up in the coming months.

Paul J Rose

Perennial busker and harmonica howler of Midland towns, Paul J Rose performs his melodious songs rooted in 60s folk, 90s pop and 00s indie-rock with passion, conviction and a quiet undertow of wicked humour. When not playing his guitar in a club, pub or street corner, Paul is often poised with a pen ready to write eloquent, bittersweet and tragio-comic lyrics about the minutia of everyday life, the glow of the dawn on a canal towpath, or the mysteries of the ever changing world. He released his third album ‘Ulterior Motives’ in 2013 and his latest song and video ‘Bounce Back’ in August 2015

Paul Jeffery

Paul Jeffery is an accomplished singer and guitarist who writes songs that are influenced by blues and folk. He has an idiosyncratic take on other songwriter’s material and also plays ragtime and blues numbers. He plays mostly in fingerstyle patterns and his voice is sometimes plangent, sometimes soulful and powerful. Paul is also a writer and poet and it is very difficult to actually place his solo music in any particular ‘bag’. His latest album is called Cuttings from Don Quixote’s Neglected Garden and is really rather good. He is also a Gemini who doesn’t believe in Astrology.
