Zebedy Rays
|
'...the Hailing from the outback of Worcestershire, ZEBEDY RAYS are an intense and hardworking rock ‘n roll outfit ready to unleash themselves onto the UK's music scene. Their sound is a combination of sleazy guitar riffs, pounding bass lines and an onstage energy that is bursting at the seams! Enigmatic frontman Adam Hickman has the presence of a rock star in the making and would stand tall alongside any of the great front-men of the last 20 years. Flanking him is Danny Meigh who thunders out the distortion-heavy bass lines that fit perfectly in-sync with drumming machine Josh Powell the ferocious 'engine room' of the group holding it all in place. Debut single ”John Esli Davies” was released in September 2010 thru the London based Beggars label and was recorded in the famous abbey road studios! Since that they’ve released a second single “War And Whiskey” in March 2011 and also completed two UK tours, stopping off at the 900 capacity Electric Ballroom and 500 capacity Highbury Garage, plus tour support with breaking Oklahoma band ‘Colourmusic’. In August 2011, Universal Music invited the band in to record some new tracks at their studios, and it can only now be a matter of time before a major record deal is signed. £4.00 a ticket anmd £5.00 on the door |

PATHOSIS Born out of a love for classic Death Metal, Pathosis formed in the spring of 2009. Determined to revisit the heyday of Death Metal, Pathosis have set out to bring the disease to those who crave the destruction. RIGOR MORTAL Rigor Mortal play a Death metal core sound with under and overtones of other metal genres and even grunge, to create a sound thats powerful and unique, and complicated in it's simplicity. Fury Fury is a metal band hailing from the home of metal, the UK’s West Midlands. Combining the hard hitting styles of America’s bay area thrash scene with vocals and melody more common to the NWOBHM era to create an awe inspringing epic sound. Mother Dirt MOTHER DIRT are a heinous concoction of hardcore punk-grind; crusty necro doom, thrashing wildly like a flailing horse. We thrive on a challenge, trying to push the boundaries of what we sound like; braving blizzards and giant rats. The Culprit 4 piece influenced by many genres, blending rock and electronica. “It can be as heavy as you like, but it's got to have melody and hooks.” Live show embraces new technology from the bands own studio with the traditional Bass/Drums/Guitars setup. |

PENG PENG are the latest heavy hitting hybrid- bred from the prime cuttings of several hot local outfits (Fury, Dissidence, Rigor Mortal, Sett, Knapkin), PENG are loaded with a fresh, groove laden sound, delivered with all the crushing, sludgy audio inasnity you'd expect from these experienced wreckers. Several months under the hot lights at Tower Studios and they're primed to light up the Marrs Bar for a half hour of blissed out, but thouroughly brain splitting, madness. £3.00 a ticket or £5.00 on the door |
